The marketplace

Moned operates a marketplace for expert discovery, reviewed profiles and services, availability, booking, payment, communication, reviews, summaries, expert operations, and administration as those features are enabled.

Paid transactions are unavailable until Moned publishes an effective supported corridor and enables all required checkout controls. A profile, price, or available time does not by itself mean a paid corridor is supported.

Supplier and marketplace roles

Where checkout identifies an expert as the underlying supplier, the customer contracts with that expert for the identified service and Moned acts as a disclosed marketplace and collection agent for that transaction. Checkout may identify a different treatment where a mandatory jurisdictional rule applies.

The supplier identity, Moned role, tax treatment, expected document, currency, and amount displayed in the finalized checkout control the specific transaction. Moned does not treat a general platform description as a substitute for that transaction record.

Provider-specific obligations are described in the Provider Terms.

Accounts and accurate information

Users must provide accurate and current identity, billing, tax-location, business-status, service, and payment information; protect account access; and use only roles and capabilities they are authorized to use. Moned may restrict transactions or payouts while required information is missing, expired, conflicting, or under review.

Bookings, payments, and documents

Server-authoritative prices and the finalized checkout record govern a booking. The applicable supplier, fees, taxes, refund terms, currency, and expected invoice, receipt, or other document are shown before payment when a corridor is enabled.

Payment and refund handling is described in the Payment and Refund Terms. Tax and seller-reporting responsibilities are described in the Tax and Seller Reporting Policy.

Service and advice boundaries

Professionals, Content Creators, and Guides provide different kinds of guidance. A review label is not a guarantee of outcome. Users must not present educational or lived-experience guidance as regulated professional advice, and paid regulated services remain unavailable unless expressly supported for the relevant corridor and provider.

Conduct, restriction, and appeals

Use is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, marketplace standards, expert standards, and governed safety decisions. Moned may pause a transaction, document, report, payout, or account where required for safety, fraud prevention, tax verification, reporting, legal compliance, or reconciliation. Eligible decisions may be appealed through the defined process.

Governing law and mandatory rights

German law applies, without overriding mandatory consumer protections available in a user’s country of residence. Courts in Hamburg have jurisdiction where a valid jurisdiction agreement is legally permitted. Consumers may also use courts and remedies available under mandatory law.
