Terms of Service
Last updated: January 11, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Moned platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction
Moned ("we," "our," or "us") provides an online marketplace connecting individuals seeking relocation advice ("Seekers") with independent experts ("Guides"). We do not provide legal or immigration advice ourselves; we facilitate connections and provide the technical infrastructure for these consultations.
2. Our Role as a Platform
Moned is an intermediary. We verify the identity and credentials of Guides to the best of our ability, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of the advice they provide. The contract for services is directly between the Seeker and the Guide. Moned is not a party to that contract.
3. User Responsibilities
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and in your profile.
- Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the platform for any illegal purpose, harassment, or to solicit users to off-platform services.
4. Payments and Fees
For Seekers: You agree to pay the fees specified by the Guide for their services. Payments are processed securely via our third-party provider, Stripe. Funds are held in escrow and released to the Guide upon successful completion of the session.
For Guides: Moned charges a platform fee (commission) on successful bookings, as detailed in our Pricing page. This fee is deducted automatically from the payout.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a fee. If a Guide fails to attend a session, you will receive a full refund. Specific dispute resolution procedures are available in your account dashboard.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moned shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your access to or use of the platform or any advice provided by Guides.
7. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through our platform or by other means. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
