Terms of Service
Last updated: April 8, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Moned platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction
Moned ("we," "our," or "us") provides an online marketplace connecting individuals seeking relocation advice ("Seekers") with independent experts ("Experts"). We do not provide legal or immigration advice ourselves; we facilitate connections and provide the technical infrastructure for these consultations.
2. Our Role as a Platform
Moned is an intermediary. We review submitted expert identity and credential information to support platform trust, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of the advice they provide. The contract for services is directly between the Seeker and the expert. Moned is not a party to that contract.
3. User Responsibilities
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and in your profile.
- Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the platform for any illegal purpose, harassment, or to solicit users to off-platform services.
4. Payments and Fees
For Seekers: Public bookings and payments are not open yet. When payments are enabled, Moned will use booking-linked payment flows and the related booking plus your account history will show the latest captured, released, refunded, or under-review state for each booking.
For Experts: Moned's platform fee applies only when successful bookings are enabled, as detailed in our Pricing page. Stripe-connected payout workflows remain gated until payment enablement is approved.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation, refund, and session-issue outcomes depend on the booking state and, when a session occurs, the final session outcome plus any required review. Expert no-shows may trigger automatic reversal or refund. Participant no-shows, failed-call cases, and disputed outcomes may require review before a final financial decision is applied. The related booking remains the source of truth for the latest refund, dispute, and remediation status.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moned shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your access to or use of the platform or any advice provided by experts.
7. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through our platform or by other means. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
